THE LONG ELOWEN

The Long Elowen evolved from the original Elowen Chandelier. That same wild, organic quality but stretched out to fit an elongated space. Perfect for the kitchen island or a dining table.

A collaboration with decorative artist Pierre Yves-Morel who created the marbled painted beads. The metal work was crafted by Sarah’s metal workshop in London and the glass shades are blown by hand in Dorset.

The chandelier can be made in white or coloured beads.

CRAFTSMANSHIP & MATERIALS

THE COLLABORATION STORY

Every part of the chandelier is hand-crafted, and the brass branches are connected to glass shades with a ball and socket joint so that each can be angled to suit. Pierre-Yves Morel creates the handmade beads in Belgium before hand painting them in swirly milk white. Each one is totally unique and whilst they looks like marble they’re light and versatile. A colourful version comes in gilt, sea green, teal blue and swirly off-white tones.

After studying painting at the Strasbourg School of Decorative Arts in France, Pierre-Yves trained in decorative painting at the Van der Kelen-Logelain Higher Institute of Painting in Brussels. Parallel with his work in private residences he creates objects with a contemporary look by using – or even diverting – traditional technologies.
